The dual heater system has a center heater brews coffee then shuts off. There is also a gentle warming heater keeps coffee at a constant serving temperature without overcooking it.

With Hamilton Beach coffee urn you can refill cups with one hand which will make serving your customers fast and easier. It will fill your cups up quickly and shorten the waiting time for everyone.

This coffee urn has a filter basket and it is recommend to wet the plastic coffee filter before filling with coffee grounds to prevent the coffee grounds from slipping through the coffee filter. Paper coffee filters are not required.

Hamilton Beach's coffee urn has a coffee level indicators where the water/coffee window makes filling easy and shows you at a glance when coffee level is low. The coffee level tube is easy to remove for cleaning and the metal cover holds the coffee tube in place for easy viewing.

There is an automatic shutoff system so when the water in the tank has completely boiled away the coffee urn will automatically shutoff. There is also a red indicator light that turns on when the urn is plugged in.

The handles are a heavy-duty plastic which makes it really easy to transport.
