This freezer is all metal, inside and out. The top, back, and bottom are made of galvanized steel. Also, all of the seams are closed and sealed, with metal edges turned away from the exposed surface. The result is a unified organic frame. Internal corners are coved for cleanliness principles. There is automatic interior lighting that can be controlled by a light switch that is concealed within the door hinge. Unless you have the glass door models and then the switch is manual.
