The Southbend 348 RG245NG countertop steamer is heated by natural gas with a gas fired stainless steel steam generator. The exterior is made from 304 stainless steel, and the interrior is made from 316 stainless steel. The cooking chamber has covered corners that are easy to clean then the square corners. With a full perimeter gasket, the heavy duty stainless steel door keeps the heat inside. An outer stainless steel liner is one piece all welded. The spring release door features a positive lock and seal mechanism that makes opening and closing the door as easy as possible.
