This model comes with a 4" fold-out probe for taking internal temperatures, which stays secured to the side of the unit and swivels out when it's needed. The probe has a temperature range of -67 to 626 degrees Fahrenheit. If you need to take surface temperatures on equipment, this thermometer's infrared mode lets you easily switch over. The infrared thermometer has an operating range of -67 to 482 degrees Fahrenheit.
